  1. My site keeps going down due to having more than 1 million inodes. I finally got this not so helpful e-mail (below) from my web host and I have no idea what to do or how to fix. Can anyone please help? I cannot afford a web developer at this time but if I can get back on my feet I can possibly send money at a later time. Going through some rough times... I am not a developer but I do know how to log in to my WHM and cPanel. ========== Thank you for contacting support. We recently found your VPS server hitting inode limits, we have temporarily increased the package limits on your server to prevent further service interruption. The services on your VPS will not function correctly once you hit the inode limit for the VPS. You will need to remove any unwanted files from the VPS to reduce the total inode usage. The VPS packages are limited to 1,000,000 total inodes (files). The temporary increase in limits will be reduced automatically after 72 hours. Please note that the inode limit will revert back to the default value of 1,000,000 after 72 hours on March 28 2019, at 22:11 CDT.I am including below a breakdown of the inode usage for /home:864807 /home844772 /home/buggalena466055 /home/buggalena/public_html377600 /home/buggalena/cachebackup376597 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache375508 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs58818 /home/buggalena/public_html/img54224 /home/buggalena/public_html/img/p23926 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/c23816 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/a23747 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/723735 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/c23710 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/f23707 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/023703 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/d23696 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/923656 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/823648 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/b23636 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/223624 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/223616 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/a23614 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/323538 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/523512 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/d23511 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/023483 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/623479 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/e23476 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/823467 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/b23446 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/923443 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/523443 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/123393 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/123392 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/f23360 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/623358 /home/buggalena/cachebackup/423357 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/423331 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/723192 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/e23061 /home/buggalena/public_html/cache/cachefs/3
  2. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF ISSUES SUCH AS THESE AND KNOW HOW TO FIX??? So I've used Prestashop for a few years now, I currently run version 1.6.1.9. Somehow payments from international users using PayPal has become broken. Customers cannot purchase and get these types of error messages: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bohmaw4g9zobso9/AADOXY8269A6bvlHpg98coL6a?dl=0 My customers say they have no issues with PayPal on any other shop. I've tried uninstalling the PayPal USA & Canada app and installed the paid version "PayPal Standard" but I couldn't even get that one to work so I went back to the USA & Canada one. I've gone through all the settings I can find and everything seems set right. I have contacted PayPal and they don't see the issue on their end. ADDITIONALLY - More and more USA customer's purchases are not linking back to my website and they are filing disputes against me. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm so lost. Can anyone please help??? -Katherine
  3. Thank you everyone. I'm trying to find someone who can answer some of these questions for me. Like I said this is all a little above my area of expertise and I do not have the time needed to answer your questions. I was hoping it would be a quick fix. -Katherine
  4. Sorry a lot of this is just over my head. I am not a website tech and I'm trying to deal with my children, customers, etc. According to my Prestashop Dashboard I've had 96 visitors in the last 120 minutes if that helps.
  5. My latest conversation with them: I've been asking around for help. One question they want to know is what exactly is my limit? In your note above you state "in order to his this limit"... 9/26, 10:12pm Bluehost Hello Katherine, Good question. Your limit is 15 concurrent connections in your mysql database. Hope that information helps. Thanks for checking back with us and let us know if you need anything else. 9/26, 10:13pm Katherine Trossen-Lusiak OMG, 15 is nothing. I have 1,500+ customers. How can I get this limit lifted??? 9/26, 10:19pm Bluehost No, once again this is only for your database connections that are taking to longer to open/close. It's not the amount of customers that can be on your site. You'll need to forward this information to your developers so that they can help you optimize your current code/script to help those connections close more quickly. Social Media Support
  6. I asked my host if there were limitations and this is what they replied: No, the limit your hitting it for having too many database connections open at a single time. A well optimized site's database connections should open and close in milliseconds. So in order to hit this limit they must be staying open longer than normal. The MYSQL Slow queries logs in the tmp folder on the server, records any mysql connection that stay open longer than normal. So checking those logs would be a good place to start.
  7. Looking for someone to help me fix the following error my customers get when they go on my site whenever there is a number of people at one time. In speaking with my host it should be a simple fix but they said it's a developmental error and will not help me. Please contact me ASAP if you can help at [email protected] Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[42000] [1203] User buggalen_shop47 already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections
