Did anyone find a way to do this? I have found a module but they want 30 Euro, and to pay out for something that should be in core is shocking!

Hello All So I am creating a new template for emails, and I want to pull though information from my store etc, and to do this I need know the code to use.. for example if I use {firstname} {lastname} The email when sent will pull though the customers first and last name. Is there a list of all these commands so I know what will work and what wont??? Thanks in advance. Danny

Thanks guys... I didn't see that one... I have installed it... Is there anyway to change a customers reward points by hand? I have been into the customer record but I can't see a way of adding points?

Hi All Does anyone use a system where each purchase gives the customer some reward points? For example they purchase product A and get 10 points / credits, then they can spend these credits on future purchase... Also if they do things like leave a product review they get points etc?? TIA

Hello All I have just installed the ebay module, installed fine, and connected to ebay to allow it to have access, then when I go into the back office and click configure I get the below message This page is not availableWe're sorry, but the Web address you've entered is no longer available. To find a product, please type its name in the field below. Am I missing something here, do I need to do something else to make it work? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

Hi Vekia If I was to change the code to <p class="bold">{l s='For questions about an order or for more information about our products test123’}.</p> Adding the worlds test123 at the end, clear the cache of the store, and also my local browser cache when I then visit the page its just blank. i.e white and nothing is displayed. If I then remove the words test123 and save and upload the file it then works as expected and displays the contact us page.

Hello All I have had had a look on here on how to change whats displayed on the contact us page, and from what I can tell I edit the file called contact-form.tpl from within the theme folder. ​I have found the text that is actually displayed on the page snip-it shown below <p class="bold">{l s='For questions about an order or for more information about our products’}.</p> When I edit this text, even just add text to it save the file and replace it on the server and then refresh the page, (i have cleared my shops cache 1st) all i get is a blank white page... If I then remove the text I have added the page then works... I assume I am missing something here... would anyone know what I am missing? Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.

Hello All I have a store in place, issue been when a user places an item into the cart and then when they click pay via paypal the user gets redirected to the below link http://https//www.chatchydora.co.uk/modules/paypal/express_checkout/payment.php For some reason the URL at the start is getting messed up, and also I am NOT using HTTPS yet on my site so i don't know whats going on I have removed the paypal module and re installed same issue. Its NOT running in test mode, and now this is the only issue stopping the site going live. Has anyone see this before, or can help in anyway to advise what I need to do to fix it? Thanks

Hello all So I have a new store setup, www.chatchydora.co.uk this works fine, apart from the paypal payment, I don't have SSL enable, I have checked the database and PS_SSL_ENABLED has a value of 0 but when you add a item to your basket, then go to checkout if you use the fast checkout option of follow the steps and sign in when you finally click the option to pay the paypal like tries to send me to http://https//www.chatchydora.co.uk/modules/paypal/express_checkout/payment.php As I am not using HTTPS this fails and the order won't go though. I have setup the palpal module as advised, sandbox is disabled and set to live environment but I can't work out whats wrong here and stopping the re direct to paypal for the payment. I would be grateful if someone would be able to help as this is all thats stopping my wives new business taking orders now. Thanks in advance.

Hello All This may have been answered I am not sure, and I can't find anything from a search that helps. What I want to do is create a banner on my site which I use the slider for, and to this I want to add a URL which will display ALL products from one of our suppliers as I have discounted them by 20% but I can't find any URL that would how all products form a supplier Would someone be able to help? I must add I am new to prestashop but I do know my way around PHP but I hope I don't need to change anything in the PHP to be able to do the above. Thanks
