Hi Guys, Prestashop: 1.6.1.15 I’m testing my Prestashop site on a new Litespeed server and seem to have an issue with ‘Friendly URLs’. Whenever ‘Friendly URLs’ is activated in Preferences > SEO & URLs, images do not display and every page gives a 404 error… deactivate ‘Friendly URLs’ and everything works fine. I’ve checked and the server does have mod_rewrite turned on, i’ve also tried the suggested fix of deleting the .htaccess and regenerating in by switching ‘Friendly URLs’ off and then on again but it didn’t work. The website is a direct copy of my live site which is running fine on an Apache server. I’m assuming there is some incompatible rewrite rule in my .htaccess file. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks, DM

Got to nip out now but as a starting point worth sorting the following image as it is being served from a non-secured location: volkswagen-250.jpg Also possibly your favicon is not being served correctly, and I would also recommend ditching any flash elements as these are now being blocked as default by more and more browsers. DM

Hi Guys, I've been getting an issue since upgrading to 1.6.1.4 but i'm not sure if it is just a coincidence or not. I've now had 4 customers asking when will their orders will be sent out because they've received no order confirmation and no dispatch confirmation via email. I did a little test by registering a dummy account and everything gets delivered to my email fine, after further investigation it seems all the customers use either @hotmail.com or @live.com Has anyone else been experiencing problems with confirmation emails not being delivered?... and does anyone have any idea how I can fix it? Thanks for the reply marm1te. I did exactly the same as you, went with Stripe Payments in the end because I couldn't find a solution, let see if anyone else can shed some light on it? DM

Hmm... I would maybe start with any 3rd party modules and especially any that's been recently updated. Hope you find the solution.

Yes, it turned out to be an issue with the Page Cache Module so try uninstalling that if you have it and see if it makes a difference. Failing that try uninstalling every module that is not being used and see if it resolves the issue. Are you on VPS or Shared hosting?

Hi Guys, I would appreciate a bit of advice if anybody knows the answer. At the moment the theme I am using seems to have a responsive break point at 992px which is when the top navigation changes to the mobile menu. I can't actually see why it changes to the mobile menu at that point, I would prefer it to change at 768px but I can't seem to find where to change it within the CSS. Can anyone advise at all?? Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone can offer some advice on a problem that's just started. I currently accept payments via PayPal with the following module: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/payments-gateways-prestashop-modules/1748-paypal.html I received an email from a customer to say that they have been trying to use a credit card to pay for their order but cannot without signing up for a PayPal account. This of course concerned me greatly, so after investigating the issue, it seems that if I place an order from a desktop computer, when I get taken through to the PayPal site there is a Check Out as Guest option. But if I place an order through a mobile device the option gets replaced with Create a PayPal Account with no option of paying by credit card without signing up for a PayPal account. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. DM

Hi Guys, Prestashop 1.6.1.3 I'm hoping someone here knows the answer to this question. Is there a way to force the system to use the Prestashop mobile theme instead of the responsive version when viewed on mobiles and tablets? I've tried changes setting under Preferences > Themes > Mobile but nothing happens, from what i've read this setting is intended for sites that use non-responsive themes. So just to clarify, I have a responsive theme but would like to use the Prestashop mobile theme instead. Thanks in advance. DM
