  1. Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 Layered navigation block Version: 1.8.9 Issue: Layered navigation module is causing prices to show up as $0 when viewing in categories. I initially thought I had this $0 price issue fixed in > this thread < but I then realized I had to disable the Layered Navigation module in order to fix the $0 Price showing in Category view. So the "Fix", if you don't mind not having Layered Navigation, is disabling that module, but I'd like to find out what is causing this so I can enable that module again. I can't seem to figure out what it is about the Layered Navigation module that is causing this. Anyone have any ideas?
  2. Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 Layered navigation block Version: 1.8.9 I started a new thread with regards to the Layered Navigation issue > http://www.prestasho...-category-view/
  3. The $0 price randomly came back on the Category view for some products...I disabled "Layered Navigation" module and the $0 price issue was fixed...so there is a bug in the layered navigation module causing the prices to randomly break and show as $0 on Category view.
  4. Did you change the Base URI and then move the files to the root or move the files and then change the Base URI? (Some tutorials I've read state to change the Base URI and then move the files, although I don't know if that makes a difference or not) Also, did you back up the Database prior to making the move?
  5. On the product page the add to cart button disappeared completely if the lowest size had zero quantity, even if the other sizes still had various quantities left. The $0 price was only on the Category view when a product was listed with various sizes and the lowest size had 0 quantity.
  6. I am posting this as [solved] just in case anyone else has this issue and is searching. Also, vekia are these considered a bug that should be submitted as a bug report do you think? ------------------------- Issue: "Add to cart" buttons disappearing on product page. The add to cart buttons disappearing were due to the lowest size being out of stock and still being listed on the product page causing the add to cart button to disappear... FIX: On... Preferences > Products Make sure... "Display unavailable product attributes on the product page" is set to "No". (Is this a bug that should be fixed if people who want to display out of stock sizes but can't because of this issue?) --------------------------- Issue: Products showing as $0 Price on the category view page Fix: It appears that if you create a product with the lowest size at 0 quantity it will cause the price to show up as $0 on the Category view page. I deleted the combinations on the product page that had zero quantity and the $0 price on category view issue was fixed. (I'm wondering if this is also a bug that will appear again once the stock of the lowest size gets to zero) You may also want to look into other threads that discuss "Layered Navigation" module with regards to this $0 price issue but I used the above FIX to solve my problem. EDITED TO ADD: The $0 price randomly came back on the Category view for some products...I disabled "Layered Navigation" module and the $0 price issue was fixed...so there is a bug in the layered navigation module causing the prices to randomly break and show as $0 on Category view.
  7. If I use yesterday's DB backup it should fix the issue of the missing back end translations right? I'll just have to redo anything I did today and hope the same problem doesn't happen.
  8. Thanks for your help vekia...I found them after going through every single section. They were hidden because it was showing as completed. ...but now I have a bigger problem the same as posted ---> here All my back end translations that I spent weeks filling in suddenly disappeared. They were all there previously and now all gone but it appears they are ok on the front end still. So I can't finish translating unless I find a way to get everything back in the back end...thousands and thousands of translations ALL GONE I'm using Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 If that helps any.
  9. This just happened to me! I spent weeks translating everything that wasn't translated and now every single translation (several thousand translations) have completely disappeared in the back end. The translations still appear to be ok in the front end (hopefully that doesn't disappear)...but for some reason the fields in the back end are now blank where there used to be translations. Were you able to find a way to recover what went missing from the back end or know how to fix this? Does anyone know what would cause all translations to disappear all of a sudden when they were there previously? There were no problems before when saving the translations each time over the last few weeks. I'm using Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 If that helps any.
  10. I tried that but unfortunately that doesn't seem to work properly. If I create zones with country names, and a carrier for each country that delivers to that country zone it will not appear as an option in checkout unless I add the continent zone as an option BUT then you have every single shipping option appearing for every country for that continent, which is just a mess on checkout. I hope there's a way to do this without having to charge the highest shipping cost to the whole continent. Thanks for your help in trying to find a solution! I appreciate it!
  11. Thank you...it was simple...just a bit hard to find when you don't know where to look ;-) What about the titles of the footer blocks? Where would I find how to edit the translations of those? Thanks again!
  12. I have another issue with regards to translations. I can't seem to find how to translate "HOME" in the main menu and the titles of some footer blocks, as well as the search box and shopping cart. When I click translations it shows that all of the translations are filled in but there are no sections to add the translations for HOME in the main menu or the footer block titles or the search box, shopping cart drop down. Thanks again for any help to this issue!
  13. Hello, I'd like to set a base flat shipping rate based on country but it seems Prestashop only allows shipping set by continent. If I create a zone with a "Country" name... it seems prestashop does not understand that and the shipping does not get calculated properly. You would think it should be a simple process to set shipping based on country. Thanks for any help provided to this issue!
