  1. What I cannot understand is why cannot I access index.php at the main url?
  2. Unfortunately, did not. Is there a way someone could look at the files in the cpanel, and restore it that way?
  3. I helped a friend install prestashop in 2012. This month, he upgraded prestashop to a newer version. However, this has caused problems. Now the homepage is no longer visible but a long list of files display. I think restoring it to a previous backup should do the trick. But since I installed prestashop via softaculous, I cannot seem to locate in the documentation how to go about restoring it. Can anyone help figure this one out?
  4. I was trying around adding more menu items in top horizontal menu. But when I reconfigured it to only show the default — the ones I removed still display. I cannot figure out a way to remove the unwanted menu items other than from within Top Navigation module. Any suggestions from anyone on how to go about removing the unwanted. v1.5
  5. I see. How do I mark this issue [sOLVED]? Could you perchance also look at http://www.prestasho...-moved-to-left/ and ignore comment #2?
  6. For no other reason than just to see what happens, in Backoffice/Modules/Quick Search Block I pressed Reset and the search field in frontoffice has moved to the left. Please see attached image. I'd like for it to return to its original position. I did upload a logo prior to hitting Reset however, I doubt whether its dimensions could have made the change because when I deleted the logos from \img directory the search field still displayed to the left. See presta_search._after_removing.jpg. Any suggestions on how to bring search field back to its original position?
  7. Am re-setting error reporting to off.(comment #8) This case is solved. On to next one. Thanks once again.
  8. Can you please explain why the original shop (that I moved the current shop from) is immune from this issue?
  9. Okay! I am beginning to get a bit of sense of how to go about getting the product images to display — if indeed lack of sufficient memory allocation is the underlying cause for them to not display. The odd thing tomerg3 is that the shop is functioning without any issues on the original/source domain that I moved prestashop from and both domains are hosted the same host. Thank you for the link you provided on 'how and why' of php.ini and find out if my host can increase it.
  10. Sure enough, here's the output: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_compile_if.php on line 128 How do I go about rectifying this?
  11. Checked the DB table ps_shop_url and it reflects the correct URL. Deleted the .htaccess file in the main folder (which is root), and friendly URL is already off in the backoffice. The result is the same, i.e., when I click to view a product, the resulting page displays blank.
  12. v 1.5 Yes. I changed the URL as mentioned in the documentation. I am not sure what else could I be missing. Or perhaps I could re-install prestashop on/with existing data.
  13. I am new to this so any help would be appreciated. I enabled friendly url, then transfered the prestasite to a new domain. Now, links and images open to a blank page. Disabling friendly url doesn't help. Any suggestions?
