  1. Hi - I have been busy too, thus took me awhile to get back to this project. Yes this worked. Thank you. We have many categories and subcategories. The subcategories of the main have the same title - ex: Composer - worship/wedding - we have many composers with the sub category of worship and wedding. So for the particular composer whose works are on sale, I had to put db (composer's initials) in front of the sub to distinguish it from all the others, then I could add them. That may not make sense, but I was able to work around it. Thanks so much. Mary

  3. Hi - it seems I'm not able to put you tubes within the description. I thought I had fixed that issue a couple of weeks ago, but you tubes are still not showing up, there is just a blank space. Any help would be appreciated. -- thank you.
  4. Thank you - what I am understanding is that first you decide the categories, then the products? We have about 4000 products, so to select the products will be somewhat tedious. Can I edit and re-edit that particular coupon to use at various times? In other words can I change the coupon and reuse it? Thank you. Mary
  5. I am trying to make a coupon code that would apply to certain categories only. In testing the coupon, this happens: If I add to my cart a single item from a category that I don't want to discount, the code does not allow that single item to be discounted. If I add a product from a category that is OK to discount, (there are now 2 items in the cart, one that is OK to discount, one that is not) then all products become discounted - including the item mentioned above. How can I insure that only the categories I want to discount with appear accurately at check-out? Must I also specify products as well as categories? Is there a tutorial on how to do this?   6. We upgraded to 1.6 last month. When we process an order for a customer from the back end, we cannot put items into their cart, because all of their former carts are present, and we cannot add to those carts. We must first remove all those carts before creating a new cart for them. We can remove those carts by deleting items one at a time, then refreshing. When we refresh, the next cart in line shows up, repeat repeat until all carts are gone. In 1.5 we did not have this problem. When we began a new order, the customer's previous carts did not prevent us from processing and completing the orders. This problem is a real royal pain. Can anyone help? We would appreciate it. Mary

  8. Just upgraded to 1.6. -- In 1.5 when we clicked on dashboard, we could see the daily totals. Where is that in 1.6? Thanks.
  9. Today I discovered that many of our products were removed from the home category. Therefore these products are not showing up when people type their titles into the search bar. They also don't show up when we type the reference number. I think this happened after the upgrade to 1.6 Is there a way to globally make sure that all products are in the home category, so that I don't have to try to figure out which ones are and are not? It actually appears that all products "are" in the home category, (when I go into the admin side, categories, and sort by "home" - the products all seem to be there, if that is making sense) but when I have found individual ones that don't show up in the search engine, the home category is not checked. Thanks for any help. Mary
  10. Hello - before upgrading to 1.6 I used to be able to embed you tubes in the long description by going through the source code. Now I don't seem to be able to put a you tube within the long description. I receive a pink invalid warning at the top. Attaching 2 screen shots. Thank you for any help.

  13. We just upgraded to 1.6 Some of our customers receive discounts each time they order because they are teachers. The former admin side had a way to extend discounts for a year or even indefinitely. In 1.6 there doesn't seem to be a way to extend the voucher for more than a month. Is there a way I can change or fix this? Thanks.
  14. Linda - we found someone who worked with the code for the mp3 module that we were using, and it is working fine now, just the way it was before, which is what I was looking for. It took him 15 minutes. If you need more info, please message me. Thank you. Mary

In testing the site, just upgraded to 1.6, when I change the billing address (after placing an item into the cart and attempting to check out), I receive the error unable to save address - technical error It is a box that pops up. When I click OK - it goes away and the address does change as I wanted it to Does anyone know how to get rid of the box so that it doesn't come up? Screen shot attached - thank you
