  1. Hello - we have the same problem. I have around 3000 products of which the quanitity values have set to NULL. It doesn't seem so easy to perform PHP queries in PHPMyAdmin to bulk edit them anymore! Any help is much appreciated.
  2. Problem solved here - it was an issue with languages - confusion between US and GB files. By disabling the US language setting, the front office is working properly again.
  3. Hello. After upgrading one of our shops from 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.5.0 (and now 1.5.6.0) via 1-Click Upgrade, I had major issues with many modules returning to a default / blank state - particularly modules such as ContentBox which I use heavily for front office content. The strange thing was, when I actually go to the modules from the back office to edit them, all my original settings and content are there. When I click 'save' everything seems fine - but on the front shop, no changes are made. My tag cloud has also disappeared and changes I made to the Horizontal Top Menu have defaulted too. All caches are off, changing back to a default template makes no difference, deleting and reinstalling modules (then pasting my content back in) makes no difference. Recently trying the 1.5.6.0 upgrade hasn't fixed it. Strangely, another shop was upgraded from 1.3 to 1.5.5.0 and this did not have the same problem at all! I was ready to go live with this store so it's really disappointing that it's now broken. I need to get it up and running ASAP. Any help would be much appreciated, I've tried everything I can think of. Regards!
  4. Hello, Due to a recent hack attempt on our shop, I have been going through some of the pages and adding .htaccess files to increase the security. Shop access is fine except I'm now getting 403 errors on any folder WITHIN the /img/ folder. If an image is dropped straight into it, and the permissions set correctly, I can access it fine. But an image in, for instance, /img/admin/ cannot be accessed and gives the 403 error. So a lot of the images aren't working correctly anymore. I am using PS 1.4 Beta 5. Folder permissions are set to 755 and file permissions to 644. If I disable the .htaccess files, it works fine, but then my shop isn't as secure and the redirect to my /store/ folder doesn't work of course. Any ideas? Would it help if I posted the .htaccess file in my /store/ directory? Cheers
  5. In the back office, you can click the little up / down arrows on individual products to move them into any order you like.
  6. Hello. I am running PS 1.4 Beta 5 and seem to have a problem on the New Product creation page. I have entered a list of suppliers and manufacturers, but when I go to pick one from the list on the New Product page, they do not appear in the dropdown menus. They are definitely all enabled in the relevant sections, and both the Manufacturers and Suppliers modules are installed and enabled. Strangely, if I manually set the Manufacturer ID on the product directly in the SQL database, it does appear on the product listing and in the dropdown menu, but it's the only one that appears! Nothing else shows in the list. Anyone else having a similar problem, and any suggestions what to check?
  7. Sure thing. In the back office: 'Tools' tab > Translations pick Front Office Translations in the drop-down menu and click the little flag Then all I did was do a search for 'Tax incl.' (including the dot) and changed each one to the appropriate 'Inc. VAT' string I wanted and then do the same search for 'Tax excl.' and change them to 'Ex. VAT' appropriately. There's quite a few down the page - make sure you've caught them all before hitting 'Save' at the bottom!
  8. Brilliant idea, just found them all in the back office. Thanks!
  9. Just to make the shop a bit neater for a UK operation, does anyone know what file I might need to edit to change the default 'Tax incl.' line to say 'Including VAT' instead?
  10. Wrote a whole reply out but I was barking up completely the wrong tree, and I've now solved the problem! As both countries are United Kingdom, I was really stumped with this. The problem is that the Country Code list in Shipping > Countries lists the United Kingdom as 'UK' when it SHOULD actually be 'GB'. When I edited this to 'GB' the payment went through with no errors at all. I checked the Official List that's linked from the Prestashop admin on the same page, and it states that GB would be the official code. http://www.iso.org/iso/country_codes/iso_3166_code_lists/english_country_names_and_code_elements.htm Might be worth noting this for a future bug fix!
  11. Hello, I've seen a few threads about the error I'm getting while testing a shop site we're putting together. So far none of the suggestions have worked. We have a Paypal business acount and I am trying to make a small test transaction from my own personal account to see if it works. Both business and my own account are in the United Kingdom. When I log into my account, I get the message "PayPal does not allow your country of residence to deliver to the country you wish to" and I can only click 'return to merchant'. I have tried editing the redirect.tpl file as suggested, and I still get the issue. I have tried removing the dot from the API string and I can't even get to the PayPal page if do that. It's a strange error as everything is UK based, and all the European zones are enabled fine. Can anybody suggest what to look into, for us to fix it?
  12. I'm having exactly the same problem under Prestashop 1.4 beta 5 - during a test order, I get the "There are no carriers available that deliver to this address" error and cannot go any further. There are 3 carriers set up to test it, all set to the Europe region, but I still get that error. We are based in the UK and I'm using my own UK address to test it. Any ideas?
