  1. I tried to upgrade my 1.5.6.0 to a 1.5.6.3, but it failed. So I rolled back to the last backup (this morning). Yet, not everything was correct, so my hosting provide put back the backup per ftp. Now I cannot retrieve my admin password. When clicking on the 'Lost password?' link, I can fill in the email address, but when confirming, I get an error TECHNICAL ERROR:Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror And then I do get an email with a new password, that does not work to log in. Can someone help me with this?

For me this didn't work, because of this: When applying the solution of post #15, we exclude a product from the conditions, BUT the conditions says: the cart must contain at least one product(s) matching the following rules. Which means this system doesn't work anymore as soon as a product that is allowed to have a discount on it is added to the cart. So when I exclude product A (as it is already discounted or I don't want it to receive a discount) from the list, but product be is included in the list and I am making a cart: Product B gets a discount (this is what I want) Product A gets a double discount (as it was already discounted) or a discount I don't want (as I excluded it), because product B was added to the cart, even though Product A was in the cart. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this correctly or clearly. I did find an add-on to exclude already discount priced products from all cart rules, but I did not find a way to select this for specific cart rules nor did I find one for excluded regular priced product that I want to exclude from an over all webshop discount. Any pointers to a solution would be great. (I don't know code)
  3. I'm also running into this problem. While the idea of post #28 might be a solution, it is limited. The cart rule condition 'product selection' or 'manufacturer selection' says: The cart must contain at least Product(s) matching the following rules: Add a rule concerning -- Choose -- Products Attributes Categories Manufacturers Suppliers [Manufacturers] The product(s) are matching on of these Choose Which means that as soon as a product from an allowed selection/category is added to the cart, the whole cart will get the discount (in my case 15%). So even items that are already on sale, which I don't want to allow a double discount on, are treated as 'okay' since at least 1 product/category is correct under this condition. I'm looking for a rule setup with EXCEPTIONS. A rule where you can say: all products, categories... except category/product A, B or C
  4. Hoi! We hebben momenteel versie 1.5.6 en wensen een upgrade door te voeren. In het verleden hebben we dit zelf geprobeerd en doken er wat technische problemen op. Zelf hebben we te weinig ervaring/kennis om die zaken op te lossen. Daarom zoeken we iemand die de upgrade voor ons kan doen. Ofwel Onze webwinkel compleet updaten Ofwel Onze webwinkel compleet updaten en de site opnieuw aanmaken op onze plesk als APS package op onze plesk en de webwinkel daar opnieuw plaatsen. Hiermee zouden toekomstige updates automatisch moeten kunnen plaats vinden en hopen we minder fouten tegen te komen. Wie kan ik hier voor aanspreken en wat voor kost komt daar bij kijken? Dank je!

Ik ben geen developper en heb geen verstand van codering en programmeren, dus dit is een onoverkomelijk obstakel voor me: Sinds vorige week (installatie van nieuw thema) wil geen enkel nieuw product opslaan. Ik krijg steeds deze melding: 2 fouten Producten moet tenminste in één categorie staan. Dit product moet in de standaardcategorie staan. Wanneer ik naar de tab 'categorie' ga en er een radio button van een categorie aanklik, herlaadt de productpagina ZONDER deze categorie onthouden te hebben. Zo beland ik steeds in een loop, natuurlijk. Best zorgwekkend, want ik wil allerlei nieuwe producten aanmaken naar aanleiding van Sinterklaas. De developpers van het thema zeggen alvast dat het niets met hun te maken heeft aangezien zij geen invloed hebben op de backoffice. Is er iemand die me hierbij kan helpen? --> kan het zijn dat dit hier door komt: Deze prestashop is geïnstalleerd via een APS package op onze plesk. Bij een automatische update (in dezelfde periode als het installeren van het nieuwe thema) kregen we opnieuw de melding dat we om veiligheidsredenen de /install folder moesten verwijderen. Dit gebeurde via de FTP server. Kan deze fout zijn opgetreden voor het verwijderen van die install folder? We hebben namelijk nog een kleine website (niet in multistore) via een APS package op onze plesk waar we ook die melding ivm de install folder krijgen, maar wat als we deze verwijderen en daardoor ook geen nieuwe producten meer kunnen toevoegen?
  6. Hi! I'm not a developer and have no knowledge of coding and programming, so this issue is a massive obstacle for me: Since last week (installation of a new theme) NO product wants to save. I get the following error ALL the time: 2 fouten Producten moet tenminste in één categorie staan. Dit product moet in de standaardcategorie staan. Translation: 2 errors: 1. Products must be associated with at least 1 category 2. This product needs a standard category When I go to the tab 'category' and click on a radio button of a specific of any category, the product page reloads WITHOUT remembering the radio button I selected. So I get stuck in a loop. Quite worrying as I'd like to add new products to the website for 'Sinterklaas', which is a big children's gift selling period early December. The developers of the theme confirmed me it has nothing to do with them as the theme has no influence on the back office at all. Is there anyone who can assist me with this OR who can solve this for me? Thank you so much!

  9. Everytime a customer wants to change his/her address, he/she arrives at a blank page. The customer can't change their address, any ideas to solve this? The same thing happens when the customer wants to ADD an address. So both changing and adding is impossible.
  10. When our customers want to leave a message at the check out, they receive this message (see attached). When they click okay, the order is still processed and we do get the message. It just looks very awful. Any idea on how to prevent this?
  11. Lately, I've been having a couple of people who've checked out, paid the amount due (via Paypal or Moneybookers) and then come to a blank page. The items they purchased stay in their cart and when they would check out again, the website asks them to pay again. We receive the payments, but nothing else: no order confirmation, no emails. So our customers get debited, but don't get anything in return and this shows very bad service at our end. Anybody any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!
  12. I receive an email with these details ALL the time. Has anybody got any idea what could prevent this? A client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report: PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2012-12-13T16:08:02Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10413 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error PayPal returned error
  13. Thank you guys for replying. I don't have an admin folder in the root, but I do have the following folders in the /httpdocs - admin AND -admin1234 As the admin1234 is how we renamed the original admin folder back in the day when we installed prestashop. I'm just afraid if we delete the other admin folder, other things might not work anymore... Now I've changed the /admin to /admin12. So we have /admin12 and /admin1234. The one where our backend is at is the /admin1234. Will the /admin12 interrupt any backend action?
  14. Hi, We've changed our hosting plan and apparently not all files were accurately (re)placed on our FTP server. Since the new hosting, we get this message when we want to login to the backend of our webshop: http://screencast.com/t/xd0J6VpNTU For obvious reasons, we want to log in We cannot find the /install file to remove it. Renaming the /admin doesn't cut it. Has anyone had this issue before? Any idea how I can change this situation? I am not familiar with coding. Thank you!
