  1. Nevermind folks, looks like it must have been a PayPal issue or something. After spending most of the day yesterday trying to figure it out, it miraculously started working again by itself...go figure.

  3. Just to add a little more info, I've looked at the folder permissions, I have tried to access the ..modules/paypalusa/controller/front/validation.php. I don't get a 500 on Firefox or Chrome (just a blank page) but I do on IE. I have also monitored my server error logs. No errors there except when I change the folder permissions just to check that it is working..and it is. Also have reinstalled the module twice now. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Hi, I have the same issue this morning. I get a paypal payment with no order. V 1.5.5.0 with Paypal USA-Canada 1.2.6. Haven't changed anything, this just started happening this morning! Checked the permissions, this seems to be OK, also reinstalled module. Still not working. Any ideas?

  6. Hi, Just a quick update here. As previously mentioned, I couldn't seem to get in my back office once I implemented this fix. I had some more time this morning so started playing with it a bit more and tried again. I've got it working now, but had to reset all the employee passwords. After this, all worked good! Thanks
  7. The only change I did was the one in the link you provided. Replaced line 604 with the new line highlighted in green. I will add though I am not running the default theme. Sorry I should have said this before.
  8. Hi Benjamin, If I turn off SSL, I don`t have the problem, the site correctly redirects to the login screen upon logout. If I turn on SSL, it goes to the 404 page. The code change seems to break my ability to get in the BO. With the change implemented, with Firefox, when I put in my credentials, it will say the employee doesn`t exist. If I use IE, when I put in my credentials, it redirects to the 404 page.
  9. First time I tried, I would just get a blank page when I tried to access my site. Figured maybe I copied wrong so tried again. I could then get the FO OK but then I couldn't get into my BO. So, didn't work for me after all.
  10. Found the problem!! The settings.inc file was missing: define('_DB_PREFIX_', 'ps_'); Everything works now. Thanks
  11. Sorry for all the posts but another bit of info in case it helps. I have also tried downloading my current live site and database and updating to 1.5.5 locally. First try the update failed due to the database missing the table ps_product_shop. I added that table manually and then the update seemed to work with result=ok in the xml script. However, once I tried the homepage, a page came up, "Oops something went wrong" and as before the BO didn't recognize my login...
  12. K, I tried using my current version of my live site and a database I had downloaded from my remote server back in April. Same problem. Cannot find home page when I try and BO does not recognize my login credentials..
  13. Hi Benjamin, Thanks for your reply. Sorry I realize my description is a little cryptic. I am trying to put my live site to localhost. I have done this before without issue, but for some reason I can't seem to make it work with the current live database (if the database is the problem that is). I have an older version of the database and site that works locally just fine. But I can't seem to see why I can't get what I currently have live, working locally. The database has grown somewhat..perhaps this is the issue. I'm stumped!
