  1. as with all problem,s I seem to got a it fixedr right AFTER asking for help. I switched it back to "hookdisplayOrderConfirmation" . And got it to work by changing it to the "order"... $orderdata = $params['order'] Topic can be closed/deleted.
  2. I am trying to adapt a module for review-opinion system to work with 1.7 The module was provided by the review service, but it is for 1.6. The module should be called on order confirmation page and send the order ID, customer email, and product list to the specified externar service. The first issue was The hook it was trying to attach to. "hookdisplayOrderConfirmation" The one tat seemed to be called during confirmation window was "hookdisplayOrderConfirmation2" so I changed that. But there is another issue, The module seems to be getting data from: $order = $params['objOrder'] objOrder seems to not exist, I see on the prestashop build notes that it was replaced by "order" But replacing it still gives me "Undefined index: order" error. Can anyone point me in proper direction how can this be fixed? The providers of original module told me to "contact the author of your store software" which is idiotic, but I kind of DO want to get that module working.
  3. When I try to export products from old prestashop 1.5 to the new 1.7 I am only able to get the name/price/category data. Descriptions and summaries are inalienable. The things that are actually important as these take long time to manually transfer. (well and photos, but I guess these are impossible to simply transfer) I tried to export data with SQL database function, but it seems some fields with long, values and filled with ";" and "," characters seem to escape from their fields. which means description often jumps on the next field. which in case of numerical field causes error and failure of entire import process... The program just should ignore these entries, Why the hell does it fail entire 1000+ product import just because it has errors in positions starting from 800... hell. even if it just stopped there and imported the all 800 products properly and skipped rest it would immensely help. But like this It is simply useles.. Does anyone know any way I can easily transfer the products along with the descriptions? And I should stress that Paid modules are out of question.
