I found the problem i reinstalled prestashop in another folder using installatron but with host domain email address.....all work, presta sent all email , notify user etc.... at this point i need to set up the host email address in the original prestashop installation i changed in installatron, no way... somebody know how make the host domain email as default ....? i inserted it in all control panel configuration but at this point i think some php file must be changed..may be overwrite by ftp folder or file of the new installation in the original one i must use.

i found something about modify message.php in swift folder. or ..but seems the php file in 1.6 version is different....i suppose i need to set " from email " somewhere , indeed using contact form the "from email "i in the message is the one used by installatron, but even i change in installatron this email with the host domain address seems i can't rid of this address... i see this email address in control panel for example if i want to test email sending under email configuration..always appears! I changed also superadmin email address with the host one....noway

salve, nuovo su prestashop, installato e cominciano i problemi per nuovo ordini ricevo email su admin email con mail alerts , ma l'acquirente non riceve niente l'email ricevuta su email admin ha come sender l'email impostata su installatron che poi ho cambiato con quella del dominio su cui punta prestashop(strano perche' sembra che sia l'unica soluzione per ricevere email acquisto) nonostante cio l'email arriva sempre da quella prima email che ho cancellato da tutti i settings inserendo quella con il dominio di intallazione per la registrazione nuovo utente non ricevo email come admin, neanche il nuovo utente riceve niente ho installato dei moduli free per validazione email, non funzionano installato moduli per ricevere email nuova registrazione, nessuna email ho provate a testare invio password persa dal pannello controllo, inserisco email admin e non ricevo nessuna email ma queste funzioni non dovrebbero essere di default ? vengo da wordpress dove tutto funziona.....ma come nuovo su prestashop ho perso giornate senza riuscire a risolvere niente. spero di trovare una soluzione ..... stefano m

Hi,i'm new to prestashop just installed italian version , updated products but if a place an order , the new user does not receive any email , only the admin receive the order by mailalerts. is this a bug? neds a specific module? Same thing for new user registration...the user does not receive any email nor in admin email iinstalled several modules i found in this forum like free one for new registration one....not working installed another one for validate user, no emails then i tried to recover password in admin panel login page...i inserted admin email to test ....no email at all with password when i receive orders in admin email , the sender is an email i used for installatron, then changed to one related to main domain where prestashop is installed (otherwise i could not receive order email either) how this is possible, we are talking of basic actions for a CMS..... i'm startig to regret to work with prestashop, as i'm used with wordpress , all works with wordpress....why this cms is so difficult to make it works! expecially for a neewby! stefano
