Charge credit card directly from website with PayPal or other good module?

Recommended Posts

I still haven't found a module that lets a customer pay by MC Visa in USA on a my PrestaShop website using PayPal Website Payments Pro WITHOUT having to surf to PayPal website, staying on MY website. Is there a module out there in English that does this people???
Also, what is a good module that does this without using PayPal at all (In USA)?
Thanks! It's a very BASIC question, but I can't get a good answer to this anywhere!
PLEASE PLEASE take a second to help me out, as I have done extensive research and found only stuff that only requires Website Payments Standard and forces the customer to a $2,000 PayPal limit without linking a bank account etc...

Thanks! check my site running PS: http://alacartedancewear.com

Last I tried (about 6 months ago) there is no way, paypal forces the user to login on their own site, using their own ssl. Its for security purposes, since they don't want sites to pass password to paypal for login. Donate via paypal is same way. Can kind of understand why they do it. Otherwise we could collect their passwords

But the payment window is just a little popup, they don't really goto paypal, per se.

Authorize.net does stay on your site (http://www.presto-changeo.com/payment-modules/28-authorizenet-payment.html), of course you have to have a supported merchant gateway and pay for Authorize.net's services.

Also First Data stays on your site too.

As for PayPal I have never made a paypal payment in my life and note been taken to paypal's site, and I tend to make 5+ paypal based purchases a month from all different companies.

Thanks, guys, and sorry Steve, I was wrong about Authorize.net and you were right.
On the other hand, PayPay does work with "on-site" payment for some shopping cart software. I know of some Magento driven sites that do Visa/MC directly using PayPal Website Payments Pro service. PayPal requires an API password anyway, with the Prestashop PayPal API Module, so why no paying directly from your own website, Prestashop?
Thanks a lot for the pointers to the other gateway services. I will check them out again. (I did a long time ago with limited success.)
