Bewitching
Playing around with both 1.3.7.0 and 1.4.0.14, and I have to say, all the features I was hoping for in the new version are right on the money !Vouchers that CAN be used as gift certificates, that subtract the amount that is used and if there is any left over, it's credited back to the voucher ! A+The ability to create a voucher for a category, or even sitewide, for a sale, and have that voucher show up in the cart summary page, and your customer clicks the code & it's amount is subtracted automatically, pure genius !Smother running, more user intuitive, HIGHLY customizable. Many modules included by default.I currently have several sites running on Zencart, Opencart, (tried OScommerce & Joomla/Virtuemart, what a nightmare!) :ahhh: I have to say, I'm holding out for 1.4 stable to create my store, but can and will highly recommend Prestacart when this new version is web-store ready ! Bewitching
Unfortunately the 1.4.0.14 version, at this point, is still too unstable, or reliable to use in a live site. ( I "played" with it over the weekend)A couple of small bugs to go and I'm sure it will be a killer ecommerce app !And of course, I will be using it live when all is good. garneed
Hi. I have unfortunately not been able to have a look at 1.4 - I think I had better get up to speed on 1.3.6 before I do that but I was wondering if you could advise if something is present within 1.4 as the structure of my whole site revolves around it being allowed.I want to give voucher percentage discounts on any 'non reduced price' items that the customer puts into their shopping cart and I can do this with normal voucher code setup. At the same time as having 'non reduced price' items in their cart, I also want the customer to be able to put reduced price or sale items into their cart which I do not want to qualify for the percentage discount of the voucher code that they have previously entered when putting the 'non reduced price' item into their cart.I know I'm being a bit optimistic before my store has even gone live that we will get customers, and even customers who want to purchase more than one item at a time but I can be hopeful if nothing else. After all this is what often happens in our physical store - a customer comes to the till to purchase a non-reduced item on which we can give a discount and a sale item on which we do not give discount.I appologise if this not the correct part of the forum to ask this question but I have previously asked in what I believed to be the right area and have received no replies and I am now getting desperate. I am also very new to the forum - only my second post - although I have spent hours reading through other posts looking for an answer to this problem.Thank-you.
