gluon
looking for a single tool to make & store all the bills I produce, I wanted to know if I could create "kind of" dummy products which fits with some services I provide (for instance, a 5hours pack of training)Those ones wouldn't be visible, but my administrative service could edit bill, store them here by doing themselves "kind of" dummy order.any ideas? helps ? Kelvin Koh
Hi gluon,Yes, actually you can create "dummy categories & products" for internal use.- Create a 'customer' group such as "Internal Admin/Billing Dept" - Create a category such as "Adminstrative Billing" and set it such that only that 'customer' group can view & access it. - Create products in those categories / sub-categories. gluon
I tried. But, in the case where a customer paid me by check, for instance, how could my administrative team validate the order as paid etc ?
pmfjoe
You might try the New Order module which allows you to create orders in the back office. It allows you to use any payment type and you can select products from hidden categories, create new customers, or attach the sale to an existing customer account. We use this for phone/onsite orders.
