http error 500

Just come to login to admin page and get

"www.webitename.co.uk" is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

 

I have not changed anything, it was working a few days ago.

Chatted with host provider and they say it's the index.html that is causing the proble.

I checked and it's not been modified.

But I notice the modified date on 3 .htaccess have change at 1250am this morning.

I checked a backup version of the .htaccess and they have not been modified.

 

Any idea where to start looking ?

 

My website is working ok, just the access to the admin isn't working.

To enable the debug mode, Edit the config/defines.inc.php & change the following line.

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

to

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

Didn't get you. 

Have you checked the same? Any error on the screen after enabling the debug mode?

No errors other than what I poted above.

Instead of the login box, I get that error.

I have not changed any files at all.
