New Install - Can't login Backend

Hello,

I really hope someone can help me with my problem. I've installed & re-installed Prestashop multiple times and each time

I do, I can't seem to log into the backend of the shop. I've had people of the hosting company look at it but this was just a

huge waste of my time. Therefor, please please please help me!!

Not sure but there might be some cookie issue. 

Can you please open the config table & search the PS_COOKIE_CHECKIP in the name field.

 

Set the PS_COOKIE_CHECKIP value to 0 in this table & check again.

First of, thanks for replying so quickly.

I checked it but I don't see PS_COOKIE_CHECKIP in the Config table in PHPmyadmin.

I reach the back end login screen, however when I actually enter my login credentials the page just refreshes and I'm still not logged in.

Interesting. In that case, add the same in config table with 0 value & check again.

Also can you please execute the following query in the DB & share the result.

SELECT * FROM `ps_configuration` WHERE `name` LIKE '%cookie%'

Check the table prefix according to your DB Prefix.

Try in a private tab of the browser, if works the problem is cookies of the browser, just clear it.

Apparently the problem was linked to Varnish exclude. I've fixed it now so hopefully this resolves the issue.
