Paypal error with japanese yen : incorrectly formatted item amount

Recommended Posts

Hi,

The currency of my shop is the Japanese yen.
So I added the currency:
- code iso: JPY
- symbol: 円
- conversion rate: 1
- formatting: 0,000.00X

I choose Yen as a default currency

Display decimals on prices: no

When I want to pay through paypal I get this error:
The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount.

I tried to change the format but still have the same problem...

Any idea?

I encountered to the same problem.

And the reason seems like the decimal points.

If you hide the decimal points, then you cannot see, but if you do xx% off for each item, then they will not be seen, but they actually have decimal points.

If you make sure the item doesn't have any decimal points (.00 is good), then it should go with JPY setting.

The place I got a hint for the solution.

Good luck!
