SOLVED: How to change when to send a email to the customer

Hello all,

How can i change when to send a prestashop email to the customer i.e.
When i change status to shipped, how do i stop an email being sent.

I swore ive seen the area before, with a bunch of check boxes and the ability to choose which template, but cant find it anymore... possibly due to exhaustion!! (thats my excuse anyway and i'm sticking to it)
