CSV Import - Character limit in short description

Hello,

I'm ready to set up a new prestashop ecommerce shop and I 've got in my hand the csv file for the massive import,
in this file I have a 2 colunm with long description, is it possible to configure prestashop code to limit the caracters of the short description to 200?
In this way I can import the long descript as short description and in the front site I will show only the first 200 characters.

Hope that someone can help me.
