If product with stock = 1 is bought, the costumer recieves out of stock email

Hi.

So, I am having a weird problem, adn I hope you can help...

If a costumer buys  product with 1 (one) item in stock (that now becomes out of stock, after this sale) the costumer recieves an email stating that "the item is out of stock and we are doing our best". This really doesn't make any sense... there is still enough items to fulfil this order to this costumer, and he should not recieve that email. 

Is anything misconfigured, or maybe it's an issue with the portuguese translation...?
