Possible to combine items / products together with atttribute ?

Hi,

Not sure if i sound correctly but here is an example,

I have product A : pen with attribute 4 colors
product B : ruler with attribute 4 colors
product C : pencil case with attribute 4 colors


can i or is it there is only way to create new product with
- package A : 1 pencil case + ruler + pen with no attribute color (i set this whole set is blue color, means all 3 items here is within blue color)
- package B : 1 pencil case + ruler + pen with no attribute color (i set this whole set is black color, means all 3 items here is within black color)
- package C : 1 pencil case + ruler + pen with no attribute color (i set this whole set is green color, means all 3 items here is within green color)
- package D : 1 pencil case + ruler + pen with no attribute color (i set this whole set is white color, means all 3 items here is within white color)


so i need to create all these 4 products everytime ?or is there any combination i can use to do so ?
