[SOLVED] I get double urls

I have two modules that give me double url

both modules are facebook connections


the url I get is
http://mysite.com/www.mysite.com/index.php etc...

my Ps version is: 1.3.2

Is there something wrong with my setup or is this a bug?

I think there is a conflict with the Canonical URL v1.3 module

Could some one confirm this?

Yeah, the Canonical URL does not seem to work with the Facebook mods.

interesting as I see the same in Webmaster tools, some >150 URLs not found as they are doubling. Interesting is that I did de-install the canonical URL module due to problems seen earliers. All I use is Tomerg's 301 module.

Any idea where the double URL may be coming from then? Is this bad from a page rank perspective if google finds these cases? I mean, when I am on my page I get zero non nil error when clicking anywhere, how comes google finds these links?

Hi Nobynator

I have solved it now. I downloaded a duplicate url module from Tomerg at http://www.presto-changeo.com/ it was $25.

I also uninstalled the cannonical URL module. Be aware that it took at least a month to start showing an end to duplicate url's in Google though.

I do not think there is a quick fix.
