[solved] Chat icon on the home page, where to put the chat icon HTML code?

Recommended Posts

Hi community!

I have installed chat (life customer service) for my on-line shop and I need to put chat icon HTML code somewhere so that the chat icon appears on my right column. How do I do that? I have installed left and right editorials and all blocs there are already taken. I wish I could have the chat icon under the basket/checkout block. Could someone give me a tip where to insert the code to have the chat icon right under the basket/checkout block?

Thank you very much for your help. I hope someone answers my topic.

Hi Darius,

I would probably use a module like addstuff to do that

Addstuff for prestashop

In brief, the module will display any html file. What you have to do is:

- install addstuff and transplant it where you want on your column.

- Create a html file with the code you want.

- Tell addstuff to use your html file

There are probably other ways but that's the first that come to my mind.

My comment on installed module.

Installed module works absolutely fine. It is exactly what I was looking for! However, it seems to be impossible to insert different language versions of the chat icon HTML code for different languages. It's a pity but I am very grateful for that. Thank you! :-)
