siadmin
I'm going a little crazy here, I have several thousand products, all of which will have combinations. My products are added automatically on a daily basis. I'm now working on automating the adding and updating of combinations. When I import a combination .csv file, the information gets into the database correctly and is displayed in the backoffice. However it is not displayed in the front office. If I open the product edit page in the back office, change nothing, then save, the combinations will then appear in the front office.so in theory i could solve the problem with a script that opens and saves each product via the back office, but this would have to be done daily for several thousand products, and seems very inefficient.. surely there is a better way.. siadmin
From further investigation I have found that when the combination csv is imported it doesnt change the quantity on the prestashop product table in the database, and as my store doesnt allow ordering of out of stock product it displays as no stock on the front end.. is this a known bug? can it be fixed?I can resolve this by running my own SQL outside of prestashop, but i'd rather not do so unless I have to..
