Hi Guys/Girls,

I'm setting up a store in Australia I've got all my products online, everything is setup but i cannot get the shipping to work based on weight.

Example I have set a laptop to 4000g but it displays all 3 shipping options 0-500,500-3000,3000-5000g

If the laptop is 4000g then why does 0-500 and 500-3000 show up at the customers end?

Country: Australia
Weight Ranges:
26 AustPOST 3Kg NSW Metro 0g 3000g
27 AustPOST 5Kg NSW Metro 3g 5000g
28 AustPOST 500g NSW Metro 0g 500g

States: I will be setting up duplicates because city NSW is cheaper then country NSW.
126 New South Wales NSW NSW Metro
127 Northern Territory NT --
128 Western Australia WA --
129 Australian Capital Territory ACT --
130 Victoria VIC --
131 Queensland QLD --
132 South Australia SA --
133 Tasmania TAS --
134 New South Wales NSW NSW Regional

2 Zones for testing:
14 NSW Metro
15 NSW Regional

It does select NSW, why is the laptop that is 4000g's not picking up the 3rd shipping option? also how can I setup NSW Metro postcode 2000-2800, NSW Regional 2800-2900 can this be done? postcode ranges?

not in front of my BO right now but I remember there is a setting / tickbox under shipping-->carriers which says something like 'exclude when out of range'. did you tick that. If ticked e.g. the AustPOST 3Kg it should not display if the weight is >3kg.

Hi Phil thanks for the reply. This shipping is the only thing that has me stuck. Yes the out of range is enabled on all my carriers but if i set a laptop to 4 kg or any item, it displays all my carriers as option on the front end even the 500g option, 3kg, 5kg, all of them. This would then allow the customer to send via cheapest method and making me lose money.
