Downloadable Product results in blank browser page error

Hi,

Our shop is up and running - sort of.

My problem is that downloadable products or virtual products (pdf files etc) are able to be sold and paid for. The buyer gets a link correctly.

However, when they click the link, the browser just presents a blank page.

I've tried to find a solution on the net but failed. Maybe to do with get-file.php (although I don't know where that is)?

Any help will be gratefully received.
