Prestag0od Posted December 4, 2017 Share Posted December 4, 2017 I try to import products from a database of another platform that has a Greek but latin1_swedish_ci Inside the tables the tables are filled with the following characters. (ĂÉÁ-ÂÉÔÁÌÉÍÅÓ ) Is there a way to convert them to import them into the prestashop base correctly? I changed the collocation of the DBase to UTF-8 as well as the tables but the Greek chars are still like (ĂÉÁ-ÂÉÔÁÌÉÍÅÓ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you export/import via CSV, you could try to open the CSV file with Notepad or Notepad++ and save it back with the correct character set. The source database may store as latin1_swedish_ci.
