How do I set a date added for products

Hi,

I am changing over my store to Prestashop so a lot of my products are not new. Can I alter the date added in Prestashop so that old products dont trigger the NEW tag.  I do have some new products so I dont want to disable the feature altogether but would like to not have every product labeled as new.

 

I did change the available from field to over a year ago but that did not change it.

You cannot change the date_added on the product form of the control panel. You would have to change it directly in the database on the ps_product table, or use a module that might do this.
