"Out of stock" or "Sold" not showing on the category or product page 1.7.2.3

Hi, 

I'm having an issue with "Out of stock"  or "Sold" not showing on the category or product page 1.7.2.3 of a custom theme. (chikacollection.com)

Customers do not know if the product is available or not. 

 

I've tried with renaming "On Sale" in translations, but it's not showing for some reason. 

I would like to have a tag/label over a product saying "sold", and "out of stock" showing on the product page. 

 

Can anyone help? All the answers I found are relating to 1.6. and not sure if they are applicable.

I am guessing that the issue is with the custom theme. Please contact developer of the theme and ask for help.

If you want to be sure that the issue is with the theme switch to default theme and see if out of stock labels are showing.
