Multistore: Share quantity and advance stock management relationship?

Hi,

 

So in multistore mode, you can "share quantity", but I am quite confused with how it works.

 

E.g. 

 

Shop A has warehouse A, storing 20 Apples. 1 orange.

 

Shop B has warehouse B, storing no Apple, 2 oranges.

 

If I use share quantity, how will the stock level be????

 

If I undestand correctly,

 

customer in shop B can still purchase apples from warehouse A, right?

 

but how will the stock be deducted? -1 in warehouse B or -1 in warehouse A? Will the order be split?
