SSL and ie

I have an SSL cert running on my web server. SSL is enabled via ps admin. Firefox and Safari test good when moving from product descriptions to the shopping cart, check out, etc. https and lock appears here fine.

With internet explorer (v.8), we are receiving insecure item messages when trying to navigate the cart and order php pages. The view source file shows https in all the paths and the problem seems to be the logo and header images we are using.

** We changed the line: to a straight url path:

http://www.asdfasdf.com/images/imagename.jpg

We did this for the logo image in the "header" div.

We also added a banner image.

Could this be the issue? The logo and header images are not displayed by ie when prompting the user to say yes/no to the unsecured items.

Yes the problem come from your logo and the banner.

It should be https://www.asdfasdf.com/images/imagename.jpg

If your image is on the same server you can write the url like that : /images/imagename.jpg

or {$content_dir}images/imagename.jpg
