No Theme changes when SSL is enabled

After making changes to my theme and modules of my website, the changes only appear when SSL is disabled under preferences > general. If i enable SSL but disable cache then the changes also show but I can't have both enabled without the old content showing. I have purged and cleared all caches manually.

Thanks for your help again. I've managed to solve this after days of trying! 

 

I deleted the smart cache views within phpmyadmin rather that via filezilla and prestashop.
