Going on holiday soon - any tips for settings etc?

Are there any holiday settings for presta shop? I have seen in the back office under preferences>general it is possible to enable/disable the shop but that kills it completely.

In the past using Zen Cart I just left the shop active with a banner visible on every page stating when goods would be dispatched and edited order confirmation pages and emails etc with the relevant dates. Orders still came in, fewer than normal but it worked ok.

What pages and emails would I have to edit in Presta to achieve the same?

I am currently on holiday in sunny Turkey and have takem a few moments in the shade to have a look on the forum.

I have used the popup message module called Jgrowl.

it shows a popup on each page opened and therefore no need to then change all the emails sent before holiday then change them back again when you return. This puts a message of your choice size and colour right on the page for the buyer to see.

If you search Jgrowl 0.3 using the search button above thats themodule I use.
Not sure if there is a newer version, as it works and does exactly what I want I dont see the need to get a newer version.
