language issue always going back to default language.

Hi everyone,

 

we are having an issue with our languages, we runing on prestashop 1.6.0.9.

 

the default language is French, we  have the option of English.

 

it was working fine until not long ago, but now the main page translate but 3 problems appear:

 

- frontend, main page translate in English and stay in English, category page are translated in English and stay in English, but you click on a product the page load in French.....

 

- frontend, if you are on a product page in French and you want to translate it in English by cliking the flag, the page reload but stay in French.

 

- in the backend, on product page, in description you change languange to add an English description, it change by itself to French again.

 

We try to delete "define('APS', 'ON')" in the settings.inc.php but doesnt exist....

 

we did emptied the cache and forced compile...

Where can you find this settings "settings.inc.php"?
