Cannot open Banner Block Module

Hi everyone,

Since days I am trying to open the Banner Block Module (top banner). It won't open. I thought it is a performance issue, but even increasing the memory/speed does not help.

I am running PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.14

 

Has anyone an idea how to open it?

I used a work around and was able to open it (preferences - themes- theme configurator - display top banner). However, it will not show on the Frontpage, even though it shows in the backend.

 

What do i have to do? I deleted the previous top banner with Live edit.
