Product Don't Show In Backend + Orders Don't Display

I have installed Prestashop 1.6.1.4 and have gotten 2 problems.

 

Problem 1. The products display nicely in the front-end, but in the backend when I go to catalogue > Products, 

there are no products displaying.

I have not had this problem with any other Prestashop versions.

 

Problem 2. When a customer buy a products, he can check out > Pay, but when he return

to my site, it say that "You have not placed any orders" and the products are still in the shopping cart.

 

- I receive the money in my PayPal account, but in the back-end it display "Non Ordered"  

 

 

Pretty frustrated - Hope anyone can help
