Qwerty
Hello,I was wondering is there is some way to use the cart without the need of having cookies enabled? When you add some item to the cart, AJAX adds it to the cart block. When you try to checkout and you have cookies disabled, the item disappears. When someone adds items to the cart, the cart is also stored in the database as you can see the carts in BO. Isn't there a way to retrieve the items which are added to the cart from the database instead of the session->cookie system? All help/info is appreciated.Q
Qwerty
So,I did some research and had this problem with several other shops. Some shops didn't have this problem. They store the cart items in SESSION in stead of cookies.I understand this is going to be a lot of work to change all the codes, but maybe someone already done something like this? Or knows where to look? All help/info is appreciated.Q
