clrr Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 I have installed Prestashop 1.2.5 multiple times, and still I got this stupid problem.Each time I try to add a new product, and add an image for that product, the image can't be added.I checked and rechecked the permissions for the "img" folder (used both 755 and 777).Still, it doesn't work.One thing to say it's that if I make a fresh install of Prestashop, with that sample database, I can add a new product with its image.The only thing I did every time, and could possibly have something to do with my problem, is the fact that I deleted all the categories and the products from the sample database, before I start adding my own new products.Please, someone, give me a solution.I'm desperate because of this problem.Prestashop is such a good e-commerce platform, and would help me a lot.I'm currently using another e-commerce free solution, but I tried Prestashop before and I know that it is way better than any other e-commerce platforms.Please, HELP !! Thanks in advance!L.E. : It's something I'm doing wrong, but cannot find out what is it.I want to use Prestashop for an online clothes shop.I have all my products images taken with a camera, and edited all the images with Photoshop.It's something I'm doing wrong with the editing or something like this, because, when I try to add any other image (as product image), it is added;though, when I try to add any of my products images(the ones taken with the camera and edited with Adobe Photoshop), they won't get added.I tried to add an image taken with the camera (before I got it edited), and it still didn't work.What should I do, as I cannot see any other way of posting the images for the products I am selling?Is there any type/format/anything that should be added to the picture properties ?
