404 backoffice page error during larger tasks.

Hello, been searching forums looking for a solution or any sort of hint to resolving this problem. 

 

When trying to perform a bulk product disable (controller=AdminProducts&submitBulkdisableSelectionproduct). This is for any number of disabling products 50, 1000 products, it does not matter its a 404 error every time. I also notice this error every so often when accessing 'Logs' or loading a large performance requiring page but i simply refresh the page and all is well. 

 

Server setup is a VPS running only this site. PHP memory settings are set all the way up at 256 on the server side of things (not a local php ini). Php execution time looks to not be an issue. Placing prestashop into debug mode shows no information. Prestashop logs show nothing. Site error_log file shows no error relating to this. Clearing cache did nothing. Clearing my own browser cache and switching browsers did not fix it. Upgraded prestashop to latest version, repeated all steps above and still seem to end up with a 404 error page. 

 

I also disabled mod_security on the domain, disabled all modules and overrides in prestashop performances. Removed any custom code from the htaccess file, deleted it, regenerated it, and disabled the document error to 404 page in the htaccess file.... still redirects to 404 page with no explanation. 

 

I have to be overlooking something simple. Am i right to assume this is server related? Anyone have any suggestions I may have missed?
