Adding required address field for customer registration

Hi,

 

In the address format in my country, we need a specific house number to identify the correct address.

This field is not a standard field in Prestashop and in about 1 in every 20 orders, customers forget to put in their house number. This of course is a problem as I can not send them their purchased items without it.

 

How can I ad a required field to the address fields so I can force customers to fill in their house number?

I saw some sollutions that require heavy code alterations. This does not always seem to wor. so I was hoping on a more simple, elegant, solution.

(Prestashop 1.6.0.8)
