in2sky
Hello,Does anyone uses mediatemple's (gs) lite Grid-Service for hosting his Prestashop store?I was browsing a bit to find a good quality, fast server for hosting a few webstores, and (mt) looks like a good solution. But can't find any information aboutPrestashop support (I heard they don't support the "allow_url_fopen" Prestashop needs...Thanks.
coalesce
We are running a Prestashop on MT, it should be fine. you can mod your php.ini to force allow_url_fopen
in2sky
Cool reply, just what I needed! Thanks. Hope the (gs) will be fast enough for an online store. The guy from (mt) said Magento is not working on a (gs) lite plan ...
howardliptzin
Now that MT has upgraded the GS and PS has moved to 1.5 ... is there anyone running PS on the MT Grid? I am having some performance issues and would like to get in touch with someone who has some experience running the current version PS on today's GS. Specifically I turned on the PHP 5.3.27 FastCGI for the domain and the front end shows a marked improvement. So I would love to use it. BUT, the backoffice no longer works, showing an essentially blank page with partial header, returning the error: This page contains the following errors: error on line 95 at column 109: EntityRef: expecting ';' Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error. I'm kind of a newbie, so I don't even know where to look to find line 95 at column 109... Sounds like a table... so I figure it's a DB issue??? THANKS!
