Products positions reset to 0 after webservice usage

Hello,

 

I am referring to the following ticket : http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-5650

 

Indeed, when I use the webservice the products positions are reset to 0 (from ps_category_product table).

 

I was wondering if anyone would have a clue where the webservice is actually doing the product update (I looked on classes and controllers, no clue...), or if someone already faced this problem ?
