Free Shipping, printing orders, any tips?

I'm offering free shipping (via royal mail) on all my products with the costs built into my pricing. I have never sold anything on a website before and my website doesn't launch for a few weeks.

 

Currently I sell through ebay and use their standard royal mail based size/weight/price calculator, I like this method because I can create prepaid labels. Printing off the individual labels is time consuming, though.

 

I'm wondering how things will work with Prestashop? I envisage printing off labels and then having the post office staff sell me stamps at the counter. Not ideal.

 

Eventually I hope to increase volume to the stage where I can qualify for reduced RM shipping rates and use the software they provide. 

 

Will I need a module to streamline printing of labels?

 

Any tips from Royal Mail users?

Sorry I can't answer your question but I've also just set up a shop and I intend to use royal mail. Did you figure it out?
