Specific Price not adding to cart

I have a customer in 2 groups, "Default" and "Price1", with Price1 being their default group. On each product I have a specific price on Default and Price1. The actual selling price on an item is always 0.

 

Default "9.99"

Price1 "8.88"

 

When they log in they see their pricing correctly, "8.88".

 

On some customers, they also have a specific price just for them. So I set a Price1 price for that customer, say "7.77".

 

So the specific price table has 3 entries:

 

Default ... All Customers ... 9.99

Price1 ... All Customers ... 8.88

Price1 ... John Smith ... 7.77

 

When the customer is logged in an browsing the site, they see 7.77 on the product page no problems. Every other customer see 8.88 as they should.

 

However, when the customer adds the item to the cart, the item is added at the 8.88 price. When they checkout it's all done at the 8.88 price. I can't get the 7.77 to appear anywhere. When they click on the item from their cart, it will show as 7.77 as it should - it just doesn't apply to the actual purchase.

 

Is this a known bug or problem with settings? Prestashop 1.6.0.14.
