Prestashop 1.5.3.1

Admin panel:

Preferneces > SEO & URL's

Friendly URL (set to yes)

Automatically redirect to Canonical (set to NO)

Disable apache multiviews (set to Yes)

Since the start of prestashop everything just worked like a charm.

Now we have installed an SSL Certifikate

Under Set Shop URL:

Shop url: www.heavenly-treasures.com

SSL url: secure.heavenly-treasures.com

Enabled SSL and came up with no error. Now I order something, click on checkout and then i get 404 page not found.

After a couple hours try to figure out whats wrong i set the option to the following values

Preferneces > SEO & URL's

Friendly URL (set to NO)

Automatically redirect to Canonical (set to YES)

Disable apache multiviews (set to Yes)

Now the order page works. everything else too, BUT:

In the admin panel under products, edit a produkt (seo) generate:

Product link will look like this: http://www.heavenly-treasures.com/lang/3-pearl-blue.html

be klick on this link brings up a 404 Error page

**

And on the order page, is there a way to remove the (new products block) ? Kinda makes no sense to show that on a order page.

**

Also in the sitemap, tons of errors from google indexer, about these SEO links, they still in the sitemap, but dont work anymore.

Now the question, how i make the picture show again and how i remove those seo links from the sitemap and or update them so they work again?

The only thing I can comment on is disabling the blocks... In Modules select "Front Office" change the option to "enabled" so you can see what is enabled and disabled. Also try checking of the modules positioning section too.

I am fumbling through opening my store. I thought the forums would be a but more helpful but they haven't been at all. I'm asking the questions in Google and finding answers to things that way. You'd be surprised where on the net someone published something.

well the picture problem i have solved, it was that silly watermark thing, uninstall the module will not remove the rewrite shit out of the .htaccess.

But how to fix these silly SEo links no clue, but found another resolve, creating the sitemap external, gets rid of that stuff.

Asfar for the new products, no clue. except keep the new products as little as possible otherwise your order page gets 100 Miles long filled with emptyness, guess the coders of that prestashop thing havent thoughed much when they made it. happens, nobody is perfect i guess.

But still havent a clue how someone comes on that crazzy idea to display a new product block on a order page, must have drunk tomany beer when they made that..

but yes its kinda funny that forum :)
