Adding a language makes the shop unavailable online, but works on local

Hi !

 

I have a website online with an url like www.example.com, which include a shop located at www.example.com/shop

 

It's currently only in french, and i have to add the english traduction.

 

I downloaded all the website and it's database  to have the exact same copy and make my test in a local environnement, 

 

So on my localhost, i added English(USA) language, and when accessing the /shop, i'm redirected to /shop/fr, and i have now a little box to change to /en or /fr, everything works fine.

 

I do the same thing online, and when accessing www.example.com/shop, i'm redirected to www.example.com

If i disable English, the /shop works back.

 

Does anyone has an idea about what could cause that ?
