klaatu Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 We currently use ZenCart and one of the weeknesses is that shipping tools are not able to determine the weight of the order. Hence when order data is pulled, the weight on a multiple item order is wrong. Does Prestashop have this issue? Is there a defacto solution for shipping via USPS and FedEx with Prestashop? There is a solution we use on Zen which is called Shiprush. Shiprush pulls orders directly from Zen and then posts back tracking to Zen. Shiprush has an integration for Prestashop also. las3r Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Hi there, PrestaShop does proper calculation of weights and dimensions if you have filled them in during product creation. I know for a fact that the UPS module works properly (calculate shipping price based on either dimensions and/or weight). Haven't used Shiprush though, maybe the moderators can tell you something about this - they've been around for a long time and have probably seen this module come by.
