Customers can't Add to Cart without Accepting Cookies on their mobile device

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My mobile customers are unable to "Add to Cart" without enabling "Accept Cookies" on their mobile device and there is no notification to tell them to do so.

How can the shopping cart notify them that they need to enable "Accept Cookies" on their mobile device?  Otherwise, every time they try to add to cart nothing happens - no message or anything.

Thank you in advance!

look for a module that has pop up or other method to prompt customer to accept curriences.  I know there are several so search outside of forum like google 'prestashop module accept cookies'.  Please let us know how that sorts out for you.

gosh I really can't say, I am in the US and we don't have this law.  And when I visit from US a website and get the cookie accept I get annoyed. :)

look at reviews that module works.  Honestly I seldom if ever use free modules but the again I don't purchase a lot of module either.

Look for quality and responsive developer.

I am in the US too.

Can I then disable in Prestashop the setting that requires customers to accept cookies before being able to add to cart?  If so, where would that setting be?  Thanks.

Right now the following message pops up if cookies are disabled in my desktop browser:

______________________

Impossible to add the product to the cart.
textStatus: 'error'
errorThrown: ''
responseText:

______________________

Where can I revise the above message in Prestashop?
