Multistore BO Issue

When I try to create categories and/ or products using my 2nd store, when I hit save the page just goes blank white. Then if I hit enter again it goes back to the page that would show you where the category or the product would be, but the name field will be blank. Did I set something up wrong when I created the multistore? Was I suppose to create two different groups for the shops even though I want both stores to share the same sign in information?
