Emails translations error: Problem with blockquotes

Hi guys!

 

I am trying to change e-mail template from the back office but when i save any modification all code  become corrupted. All "  (blockquotes symbols) are replaced by \" (backslash blockquotes).

I have tried  to edit html file manually and it seems to work. But any modification from a back office corrupt all the code again.

 

for example file themes/mythemes/mails/contact_form.html
....
<td class="linkbelow" style="padding:7px 0">
        <font size="2" face="Open-sans, sans-serif" color="#555454">
            <span>
                We will answer as soon as possible.            </span>
        </font>
    </td>
....
 

become
....

<td class=\"linkbelow\" style=\"padding:7px 0;\"><span style=\"color:#555454;font-family:\'Open-sans\', sans-serif;font-size:small;\"> We will answer as soon as possible! </span></td>
...

 

I am using prestashop 1.6.0.11.

Had someone have this problem? Thank you for any help.

something worth trying, back office-->preferences-->General

 

find and disable Use HTMLPurifier Library and retry.

Thank you for your advice! It works!!! Now I can edit my e-mail templates  from back office!
